Spring Socks

Ariel Brandt Lautman

I recently finished a cotton throw for my husband's aunt. I started it in January, when the weather was still cold, cold cold, and I finished it in March, as warm weather was peeking out from its hibernation (if you live in MD, you'll know that in late March/ early April spring decided to go back to bed for a little while).

After finishing such a large, long (heavy! it was double held cotton) project, I am ready for something small, lightweight and quickly finished. In other words, time for socks!

I decided to try and learn two at a time, toe up socks, and so far have really been enjoying the process! I'm planning to make some rainbow socks for my son using this fun Boombox sock from Hedgehog Fibres that I got in the shop during the yarn crawl.
