Description:

Knit a zippered hoodie for your favorite baby or child in our new Wednesday Beginner Sweater Academy, with guidance from instructor Janet Bowen. The R&R Hoodie, by Tanis Lavallee, is a great Your First Sweater, and features pockets, a hood, and a zippered closure. Come see our shop model, knit in Malabrigo Rios, and get inspired to knit your own! This monthly class is offered on an ongoing basis so students can continue beyond one month for as long as needed to complete a sweater.

Class Dates/Times:

Wednesdays, 1PM - 3PM

Prerequisites for Class:

Must be beyond basic Knitting 101 skills.  Knitting 201 or beyond is preferred.  

Materials Needed for Class:

Pattern: R&R Hoodie by Tanis Lavallee; 

Size US 6 and US 7 needles, or size to obtain gauge

Worsted-weight yarn

Tapestry needle

Scissors

Sewing needle

Separating zipper

Sewing thread to match zipper

Contrasting thread for basting
