Today our INTRO. TO SOCKS CLASS finished up their third session and can be seen here watching Terry demonstrate the Kitchener stitch to finish off their toes. And by the front window, we see two INTRO. TO INTARSIA CLASS students mindfully twisting their yarns under and over on their way to knitting monogrammed sachets. What a fun day we had today with everyone learning new things, stopping into check out our store, and some even just to say hi and share a relaxing moment or two:) My favorite kind of days, thanks everyone!

Join JESSICA this April on Monday evenings for our APRIL MONDAY NIGHT KNITALONG CLASS and knit this incredibly pretty spring accessory, "Leftie," by Martina Behm. The pattern is available from Ms. Behm on Ravelry and the class is at Woolwinders on Monday evenings from 6-8 PM April 8th, 22nd, and 29th. Use up your leftover yarns or choose one of our fun new spring yarns to create this asymmetrical shawlette. It's all garter stitch with the cute flowers on the end knitted using short rows for a fun and relaxing knit. The pattern is very flexible allowing you to knit a small neckerchief, or a small or bigger shawlette! Remember: Mother's Day is coming! Tonight we turn our clocks ahead, a sure sign that the season has officially transitioned from winter to spring whether the weather is agreeing or not! And while our inventory may be taking a turn for the lighter and brighter, one thing that never changes is our wonderful SAFARI KNITTING GROUP CLASSES! There is just no better place to learn to knit or to hone your skills while making lasting friendships than in one of our safari groups.
