Description: Knit an on-trend yoke style sweater! This flattering sweater is a great first sweater project and introduction to colorwork. The sweater is knit in one piece from the top down.

Techniques/Skills Learned: Yoke sweater construction, stranded colorwork.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Advanced Beginner level skills PLUS increase, decrease, and follow simple patterns.
Prerequisites for Class: Confident basic knitting skills, ability to read and follow a pattern, previous colorwork experience helpful.
Materials Needed for Class:
Fern and Feather pattern by Jennifer Steingass (can be purchased on Ravelry or in-shop).
2 (or more) contrasting colors worsted weight yarn.
Needles: To fit gauge 18 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch.
Stitch markers in several colors.
Homework: Work a gauge swatch before class so you a ready to start knitting!
Additional Notes: Store sample is knit with Woolstok on size 6 and 7 needles.
