Description:

Ever wanted to wear a favorite knit and suddenly discover a hole in it? In this class, your teacher will go over a few solutions to fix your knit piece and give it a new life! This is a “visible mending” class so the repairs will not be inconspicuous!

Basic repairing and mending; basics of needle felting and darning

None required; basic sewing helpful

Materials Needed for Class:

Please knit and bring a 100% animal fiber swatch at least 4”x4” in stockinette stitch with garter stitch frame (it can be a combination of fibers but all animals - no cotton, flax, nylon or superwash wool yarn...). 

Students are also welcome to bring a sweater or knit that they would like to repair. 

Additional Information:

Small kits for class will be available for purchase directly from the instructor on day of class. The cost of the kit is $25.
