Description:   Learn three knitting techniques: alternating long tail cast-on, combo tuck stitch 83, and Icelandic bind-off. By completing the circular swatch in the workshop, you will develop the skills necessary to complete one or all three of the accessory patterns you'll receive: a hat and two cowls. The tuck stitch pattern produces completely reversible accessories in two colors.

Techniques/Skills Learned:  Alternating long tail cast-on, Icelandic bind-off, combo tuck stitch 83 (from Nancy Marchant's book 'Tuck Stitches').

Prerequisites for ClassUnderstand and can execute basic knitting techniques: cast-on, knit, purl, yarn over, bind-off.

Skill Level:  Advanced Beginner - Confident with knitting basics and ready to go to next level.


Materials Needed for Class: 

Yarn: two colors of DK or Worsted yarn, 25-30gm each.

MC should be solid or tonal; CC should be variegated - pick two high contrasting colors.

US8 - either double points, or 16" - 24" long circular.

One stitch marker.
