Description:

Learn to embroider wildflowers! This project is entirely done on wool felt in an array of beautiful hues and mixed weight threads. We will use cotton, pearl and wool thread to paint the skies, and various beginners stitches for the wildflowers and grass. You will learn different techniques to capture the beauty of nature by using very simple stitches. You will also learn that it is very possible to embroider landscapes without an actual pattern and just by looking at a photograph.  Finished project will be wall hanging ready! 

Project and kit are the original design by the instructor.

Skill Level:

Advanced beginner (some knowledge of embroidery basics is welcome). Especially suited for students who took Mindful Stitches Beginner 1 and 2 classes. 

Materials Needed for Class:

Kits with the materials needed for the project will be provided by the instructor. 

Kits will cost $40 which can be paid directly to the instructor on the day of the workshop.
