Description: After Knitting 101 and 201 you are ready to take your knitting to the next level with knitting in the round! In this class you will learn how to join your knitting for "knitting in the round" a technique used for knitting hats, cowls, and other circular items. You will also learn how to decrease using double pointed needles. This is the perfect class to take your knitting skills to the next level!

Techniques/Skills Learned: Knit in the round, decreases, using circular needles and double pointed needles.
Skill Level: Beginner knitting - Can knit, purl, cast on and bind off.
Prerequisites for Class: MUST have taken or have Knitting 101 (offered quarterly). Knitting 201 not required but highly recommended!
Materials Needed for Class:
DK weight yarn (Cascade 220 Superwash, recommended). Amount depends on size you want to knit:
adult S (155 yards), M (175 yards), L (195 yards)
US5 and US3, 16" circular needles
US5 double pointed needles
Stitch markers (interlocking kind)
Additional Information: Pattern will be supplied by instructor during class (the Simple as Hat! pattern by Milja Uimonen)
