Simple Fair Isle Cowl
Description: Learn how to do Fair Isle knitting with this simple cowl which will make a beautiful gift. You will learn how to tension your yarn and to work with both hands holding a different color in each hand. You will need 1 skein of fingering weight yarn in a solid color and one skein in variegated shades. The shop sample was done in Malibrigo sock yarn. Note, the yarn must be purchased from Woolwinders. You will also need a US 5 24” circular need and 1 stitch marker for beginning of round.

Prerequisite: Can knit in the round and at least an advanced beginner.
Materials Needed for Class:
2 skeins of fingering weight yard (one shade in solid color, one variegated with different shades than solid color),
size 5 24” circular knitting needle, stitch marker for beginning of round.
Homework: none
