Techniques/Skills Learned: i-cord cast-on, i-cord bind-off, double knitting
Skill Level: **Advanced** - Intermediate level skills PLUS yarn over patterns, cables, ribbing, chart reading, comfortable with pattern interpretation.
Prerequisites for Class: MUST be able to knit in the round and understand charts.
Materials Needed for Class:
Gingham Neck Warmer in Double Knit by Gabriella Kartz (free Ravelry download)
2 colors of yarn - choice of weight:
Approx. 250 yards each of Sport/DK weight yarn
Needles: 16” size US 5 or 6 needles
Approx. 250 - 300 yards each of fingering weight yarn
Needles: 16" size US 3 or 4 needles
Notions (stitch marker and tapestry needle)
Purchase and wind your Woolwinders yarn prior to the first class.
*Important - Each session builds upon the previous so you will have homework between sessions in order to advance to the next steps.
Additional Notes: Shop model used (retired) baa ram ewe Titus yarn, a fingering weight yarn with size US 4 needles.
