Prerequisites for Class:

Know how to knit and purl; cast on

Materials Needed for Class:

8 inch circular needles

2-200 yd skeins of worsted weight yarn  

6 stitch markers  

Measuring tape.

Additional Information:

The pattern will be provided to you by the instructor. 

Homework:

Cast on either 47 stitches (3 to 6 month size) or 51 stitches ( 9 to 12 month size).  Knit 8 rows of garter stitch (all knitted).
