Description: Do you know how to knit and purl, but don't know what to do next? Join us to learn ways to combine knit and purl stitches, how to read a pattern, and start on your first project! Perfect for those who have taken Knitting 101 or beginning knitters who want to take their knitting to the next level.

Techniques/Skills Learned: Hone your cast on, knit, and purl skills. Learn how to combine knits and purls in different patterns to create textures and gain confidence in your knitting!
Skill Level: Beginner - Can knit, purl, cast on and bind off.
Prerequisites for Class: Basic knitting skills - Knitting 101 or equivalent.
Materials Needed for Class:
300 - 400 yards of DK or Worsted weight yarn.
Size US6 (if using DK) OR US7 or 8 (if using worsted) needles.
Additional Information: Pattern will be supplied by instructor during class (the Beginner Stitch Sampler Scarf by Kristina Tucker).
