Description: This class is an introduction to crochet. Students will learn the basics including making a chain, the single crochet stitch and the double crochet stitch.

Techniques/Skills Learned: How to crochet a chain, single crochet stitch, and double crochet stitch. Make a small washcloth (or similar project) with pattern provided by instructor.
Skill Level: Novice - no crochet experience or skills required.
Materials Needed for Class:
Size 6, 7, or 8 (size G or H) crochet hook.
One skein Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton (a solid, light color preferred to help see stitches) or comparable worsted weight cotton yarn. Pattern will be provided by the instructor.
