We love NASHUA CREATIVE FOCUS SUPERWASH YARN, and judging by our sales, so do you. So we have vastly expanded our color palette in this wonderful washable MERINO yarn. In addition to the pastels we carried all season, we now have some gorgeous brights, jewel tones, and muted shades to satisfy just about everyone:

We returned to an old favorite this spring: ARTYARNS. We have brought them back to the shop for the simple reason that we have NEVER seen a better silk yarn than their REGAL SILK. And their accent BEADED SILK is a gorgeous touch—one or two skeins turns your project into something specatacular:

And also in stock, more of the ULTRA PIMA from Cascade—a luxurious 100% pima cotton in amazing colors. We also received a box of ADDI NEEDLES but even they are low on stock. Not many 16” ones came in. Sigh. But they have promised to have them in by next week.

Next up we review our WEEKEND ACTIVITIES! Both LEARN TO CROCHET and LEARN TO KNIT are filled-so thanks for all of your support. Our FREE afternoon programs still have a few spots. Join us on SATURDAY for a KAL that gives you a choice of projects depending on your ability and preference. Choose from either the SHRUGIGAN (suitable for beginners) or the more advanced LACE SHAWL. We have pictures further down the website and models at the shop. Both take 2 skeins of LAUREL. The shrugigan takes size 7 or 8 needles; the lace shawl takes larger ones. Give us a call if you would like to participate. You don’t need to show up every Saturday, but it’s helpful if you can attend the first session this week.

On Sunday, we have the perfect transitional accessory for those still-cool mornings. NAKISKA is a CABLED HEADBAND made from DK weight yarn and 16” size 5 needles. We will teach you how to knit in the round AND how to cable, but please arrive confident of your BASIC KNITTING SKILLS including casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
