We received a bunch of stuff over the past two days, but couldn’t blog about it because we didn’t want to push our sale announcement away. But now that the lovely STACY has copied it to the left side of the page, we can revel in our new arrivals.

NASHUA HANDKNITS are personal favorites with us; their yarns and patterns are just yummy. We have some brand new yarns from them, so new that they aren’t even up on THEIR site yet. The highlight is a hunk o’ LINEN/COTTON blend in amazing colors and yardage. Anyone who has knit with pure linen knows that it is NOT the most pleasant experience, but the combination of it with cotton produces a workable yarn with lovely drape. We bought out the entire color range and the corresponding pattern book. And we have all the new NASHUA spring books in as well. And be sure to join us for our FREE classes on SATURDAY and/or SUNDAY. We continue our FEBRUARY LADY KAL on Saturday from 2-4 PM. Everyone did GREAT last week!!! This week we will show you how to pick up stitches to knit the sleeves down.

On SUNDAY, we are repeating one of our most popular programs: REVERSIBLE CABLE SCARF. If you don’t know how to cable, we will teach you! It’s almost TOO easy. You will be able to try your hand at the technique before doing it on your own work; we purposely left our scarf unfinished. You will need about 400 yards of worsted weight yarn, size 8 or 9 needles, and a cable hook. Please call the shop to sign up. The program IS free, but we want to make sure you have a place to sit!

Also, don’t forget we have LEARN TO CROCHET and LEARN TO KNIT this weekend for JUST $10. Crochet is held SATURDAY from 12-1 PM; Knitting is SUNDAY from 11-12. You MUST call ahead for these sessions as we limit them to four participants. And payment is expected at time of registration.

And then we ordered a bunch of patterning and striping 4 PLY/SOCK yarns in cotton blends. All are machine washable/dryable.
